The 3C range of Rainhog ^® underground water harvesting tanks are rotationally moulded in the United Kingdom from an industrial strength high grade Polymer – MDPE, Medium Density Polyethylene which is tough and durable and ideal for this application.

All Rainhog ^® underground water tanks have a nominal 10mm wall section and are fitted with 4 x M20 sockets to support lifting eyes. All connections to the tank, inlet, outlet, overflow, etc. should be made using a rubber grommet to seal both the pipe and tank via holes cut where required using a suitable hole saw.

The 4400 litre water harvesting tank comes as standard with a low access chamber and 600 x 600 metal 5 Tonne rated lid and will accept the Rainhog in-tank self cleaning, calmed outlet water filter system, available as an optional extra.

Multiple tanks can be connected together to increase total capacity and all tanks have been designed using FEA technology to ensure they are suitable for the intended application.

The 4400 litre underground tank is suitable for use as a sewage holding / pumping tank and has a 600 x 900 access to allow installation of sewage treatment pumps.  A range of access chambers and lids is available to suite.

All supplied lids are 5 Tonne pedestrian rated and should not be used where there is a chance of wheeled vehicle loading.

Chamber extensions are drilled both flanges, chambers covers are only drilled on the lower flange.

IMPORTANT

3C Trading Ltd. recommends all underground water tanks are installed by a competent tradesman and in accordance with the 3C Trading Installation Instructions, available elsewhere on this site, preferably using concrete rather than gravel or pebble for infill.

All Rainhog underground tanks come with a 15 years registered warranty.
