Winter is fast approaching and it’s important to ensure your oil tank is able to stand up to the demands of the winter weather over the next few months. If you haven’t already done so it’s a good time to contact your local OFTEC registered Technician and request an oil tank inspection. If you have a corroded steel tank, ask your technician about the advantages of a bunded plastic tank.

24/10/2012 : The Oil & Renewable Energy Show 2012 - Review

3C Tanks recently exhibited at the Oil and Renewable Energy Show 2012 in Manchester. Not only was it a great opportunity to showcase 2 of our most popular tanks; our 1200 litre slim-line, perfect for those with limited space, and our 2400 litre flat-top, but it also provided the opportunity to talk to installers throughout the renewable energy sector and gain their opinions on the future. It was clear that although other renewable energy technologies are taking a slice of the market, there is still a significant demand for oil fuelled central heating systems with reliability, efficiency, safety and low maintenance being cited as the main reasons for its demand.

14/07/2011 : Imagenta carry out in-house testing to ensure product safety

Imagenta Moulding has designed and developed an in-house test facility to test 3C Trading’s new Rainhog ® turret and lid assembly.  FEA (finite element analysis) was carried out during the product development, however, the company wanted to ensure that the design would exceed its load specification when subjected to physical weights.  The tests showed that with an applied load of 4 tonnes, deformation occurred but the sample did not fail.  This exceeded all indicators and expectations by a considerable margin, affirming the company’s belief that the Rainhog ® system has significant inherent strength and is one of the strongest plastic rainwater harvesting systems on the market.

13/04/2011 : 3C Trading Ltd chooses FPS Expo in Harrogate to launch its new brand of AdBlue Dispensing Tanks range

3C Trading Ltd chose the FPS Expo to launch its brand new range of AdBlue Dispensing Tanks on the 13th and 14th April 2011 at the Harrogate International Centre. The range consists of two new tanks available in both 1350 Litres and 2400 Litres volumes and the brand name is Challenger. AdBlue is used in a process called selective catalytic reduction (SCR ) to reduce emmisions of oxides of nitrogen from the exhaust of diesel engine motor vehicles. Using AdBlue ensures the emmisions standards for Euro 5 and 6 are met. These standards are set to re-enforce the demand for this technology.

18/10/2010 : 3C Trading Ltd increase continental European sales significantly

3C sales of its range of Diesel Dispensing Tanks are at an all time high. General Manager, John Abdullah, states "the increase re-affirms the confidence our customers abroad have in respect to the quality of our products and the service we provide and our ability to increase our production to meet the high demand without any delay in supply."

3C Trading Ltd launches a new range of Underground Rainwater Harvesting Tanks. Rainhog ^® is the brand name given to a variety of tanks consisting of four different sizes available in 2400 Litres, 4400 Litres, 5600 Litres and 6800 Litres. The tanks are supplied with access chambers and lids as standard and are modular to have the opportunity to increase customer’s requirements in size. With the code for sustainable homes (which came into force in May 2008) making Rainwater Harvesting obligatory for social housing and highly desirable for the private sector, the Rainhog ^® is the obvious choice to meet future demand in this sector.
